Hydrological Response and Ecological Flow Optimization in Water Diversion Area of Inter-basin Water Diversion Project

This article investigates the hydrological response and ecological flow in diversion area from Hanjiang River to Weihe River. Quantifies impact of inter-basin project on hydro-ecological environment downstream river. MIKE BASIN is initially utilized this research create multi-year reservoir operating model Sanhekou Reservoir. Then Indicators Hydrologic Alteration (IHA) Range Variability Approach (RVA) are used evaluate change degree indicators. Secondly, set seven different process schemes considering demand inter-annual wetness dryness variability. Finally, optimization scheme by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). According results, suggestions put forward perspective engineering non-engineering. The results show that simulation have a high fitting with design which verifies rationality model. Under scheme, overall river 72.91% changed. Scheme 6 can reduce (56.63%) moderate under premise less economic benefits, optimal scheme. not only guarantee function but also provide guidance reference significance for actual operation reservoir.
